Meet Our Dental Team

Dr. Christine Tsang

Christine Tsang, DDS

Dr. Tsang is originally from sunny southern California and received her bachelor’s in Psychobiology from UCLA. She then proceeded to get her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA. After graduating from dental school, she moved to San Antonio and worked as a general dentist for 3 years, serving a large pediatric population, and found her passion for treating children and those with special needs. This pushed her to strive for further training in pediatrics, so she then moved to New York City, where she completed a residency and received her certificate in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital, where she served as chief resident. During residency, she received training with special needs by working at the Rose F. Kennedy clinic for special needs in The Bronx, NY. She also received training for sedation, trauma, and hospital dentistry. She is excited to be back in San Antonio and loves to cook, ride her bike on the greenways, and hang out with her dog during her free time.

Dr. Anna Stell

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Anna Stell is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and Texas native who grew up in San Antonio. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she graduated with honors and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Health and Society, and a Minor in Biology.
Dr. Stell moved back to San Antonio to earn her dental degree at UT Health Science Center.  While there, she received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Student Award and graduated with honors. She then moved to Iowa City to pursue her passion of working with children and obtain her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Iowa. During residency, she was fortunate enough to obtain extensive training in pediatric dental care, including behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, dental trauma, and caring for individuals with special health care needs.
She is excited to be back in her hometown where she can share her passion of helping kiddos achieve healthy and happy smiles! When she isn’t treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, Harper, and their tiger-striped dog, Bex!

Cristiana (Kika) Araujo, DDS, MS

Board Certified Orthodontist

Dr. Araujo (or Dr. Kika – it’s easier!) received her dental degree in 2005 from the Catholic University of Minas Gerais, her home state in Brazil, where she grew up, and received her Certificate and Masters degree in Orthodontics from the Center for Advanced Dental Education at Saint Louis University, Missouri. After working at her family’s orthodontic practice, she joined the faculty at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics in Florida in 2011, but has been calling Texas home since 2018. She is board-certified and belongs to numerous national and international dental and orthodontic associations. Dr. Kika loves a good story, a good joke and a good laugh: she has a firm belief that orthodontists should strive to be the beautiful smiles they help create, because otherwise, it is just straightening teeth!

Same-Day Emergency Dental Care for Kids

Dental emergencies can be scary, but should your child ever need to see an emergency dentist in San Antonio, we recommend giving our office a call and bringing them in to see us as soon as you can. Dental emergencies can range from broken or knocked-out teeth to gum swelling or bleeding to getting a foreign object stuck between the teeth. Once you call our office, we will assess the situation before offering advice and scheduling an emergency appointment if necessary. We recommend adding our office phone number to your contacts so you can contact us right away in case of an emergency.

Office Guidelines

We do our best to find convenient timeframes that work with your family’s schedule as well as ours, so if you have to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice. If it’s your child’s first visit with our office or they are nervous about their appointment, you are more than welcome to stay with them during their treatment! However, we do recommend that as they become more comfortable with our team that you begin waiting in the lobby. We find that this helps us build stronger relationships with our patients. Any child who is not being worked with must remain in the lobby with a supervising adult at all times.
